Shipping and Delivery

1. What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship worldwide and offer free shipping across the EU on every order. No minimum spend required. For the rest of the world, shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout, based on your location.

2. How long does delivery take?

Our standard delivery time is 5–12 business days, depending on your location. Please note that customs processing or local carrier delays may affect timing.

3. When will my order be shipped?

We aim to process all orders within 1–2 business days. Once your order has been packed and handed to the carrier, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking link.

Refunds and Returns

1. What is your return policy?

You can return your AKUA bottle within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it’s unused and in its original packaging. We cannot accept returns for used or worn items due to hygiene and quality standards. For more detailed information about returns and refunds, please go to our Refund and Return page.

2. How do I initiate a return?

Email us at info@akuabottles.com or contact us through the contact page with your order number and reason for return. We’ll guide you through the next steps.

3. Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Yes, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

4. When will I receive my refund?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you via email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Product and Details

1. What kind of stainless steel do you use?

We use food-grade stainless steel (18/8 / 304 grade) which is durable, corrosion-resistant, and fully safe for beverages.

2. Are your bottles BPA-free / safe for drinking?

Yes - no plastics that contain BPA or harmful chemicals are in contact with your drink. The interior is 100% stainless steel.

3. How long will my drink stay cold or hot?

Typically, cold drinks stay cold for up to 12–24 hours and hot drinks stay warm for 6–12 hours—depending on external conditions and how often you open the bottle.

4. Does the bottle affect taste?

No - stainless steel does not retain flavors or odors when cleaned properly, so it won’t alter the taste of your beverage.

Usage & Care

1. Can I use it in the dishwasher?

We recommend hand washing only. Dishwashers may damage the insulation or the finish.

2. How do I clean it properly?

Use warm water, mild dish soap, and a bottle brush. For deeper cleaning, a mixture of baking soda + vinegar or a little bit of diluted bleach (followed by thorough rinsing) can help remove stains or odors.

1. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods, including:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • PayPal
  • Klarna (Pay later options may be available depending on your location)
  • Other secure local payment options based on your country
2. Is my payment information secure?

Yes - all payments are processed through trusted, encrypted payment gateways. Your data is protected with SSL encryption and is never stored on our servers.

3. Can I pay in my local currency?

Yes - your currency will be automatically converted at checkout based on your location. All prices are shown in euros (€) by default.

4. Why was my payment declined?

This may happen due to incorrect billing info, insufficient funds, or a block by your bank. We recommend double-checking your details or contacting your bank if the issue persists.

5. Do you offer 'buy now, pay later' options?

Yes - in some countries, Klarna or similar providers may offer pay-later options at checkout. Availability depends on your location and eligibility.
